PLAY AT GLENDOWIE SOME GOOD SCORING The first day of the Easter tournament played at the Glendowie Golf Club's links brought forth some good scoring, a net 03 failing to secure a win ill the medal handicap, which was won by S. Keys with a card of 00. The eight qualifying players in the cup competition met during the afternoon and play resulted as follows:—R. Jeffrey beat •T. McCrystall at the 19th; B. McCullough bent Garry, 1 up; G. 11. Hall beat C. Forgie, 5 and 4; A. G. Brown-Douglas beat. I. H. Benle, 2 up. Four groups- played off in section play and will continue, to-day in conjunction with a bogey handicap and a four-ball bogey in the afternoon. The semi-finals and final of tlio cup will also be played. NORTH SHORE CLUB An open day was held on Saturday by the North Shore Golf Club, a medal round being played in the morning and a bogey in the afternoon.
