ORAKEI BASIN CLUB The Ornkei Basin Model Yacht Club held a series of races in the Orakei Basin on Saturday afternoon The results were:— Fifth Race, for Mr. L. Heard's Trophy.— Emerald, Bm, 1; Gay, 7m, 2; lorangi, 30s, 3. Emerald and lorangi tied for the trophy with G4 points each. Miss Orakei was third with 61 points. First Race for Mr. R. Hookham's Trophy. —Crusader, scr, 1; Advance, 7m, 2; Sea Diel, 17m. 3. Boys' Events.—First race: Surprise, 1; Loyola. 2; Oceanic, 3. Second race: Comet, 1; Twilight, 2; Dorothy M.. 3. Third race: Flora M., 1: Ariki, 2; Dorothy M., 3. Fourth race: Parahauma. J;. Comet, 2; Bluestreak, 3. POINT CHEVALIER CLUB The Point Chevalier Model Yacht Club held a series of races for model yachts yesterday afternoon. The results were:— First Event.—Little Bess, 1; Ivy, 2; Jewel, 3. ' Second Race.—Fame end Aotea, dead-heat; Ivy, 3. "• Third Race.—Fame, 1; Rose, 2; Aotea, 3. PONSONBY CLUB The Poneonby Model Yacht Club held a series of races for model yachts in St. Mary's boat harbour yesterday afternoon. The results were Three-foot Handicap.—Tamarilti, 1; Ship o', Joy, 2; Flying Cloud, U. Four-foot Handicap Class.—Okere, 1; Renown, 2; AVaitere, 3. General Handicap.—Betty, 1; Bonny Jean, 2; Flying Cloud, 3. Sybila finished second, but her owner was disqualified for pushing his model. Junior Events.—First race: Tui, 1; Duke, 2; Florance M., 3. Second Tace: Tui, 1; Duke, 2; Me Too, 3. Third race: Tui. 1: Duke, 2; Matarika, 3. MANUKAU CHAMPIONSHIPS Boisterous conditions prevailed for the Manukau Senior Model Yacht Club's championship day. In many cases the small craft were blown off the course. Three races were held, and resulted as follows: 3ft. Championship.—A. anfl G. One-design Championship.—Donald cup: Kauri 11. 4ft. Open Championship.—Conditions prevented the boats from finishing and the race was declared off. *
