CONTROL OF NOISE
<;i r —There are few thinking people, I fancv, who would not agree with every 'word of your article -Control of Noise" in last Saturdays issue. Though the noise occurs at all hours, it is chieflv detrimental at night and in the early hours of the morning. In the latter "case, if all householders would be particular to see .that their milkman did not disturb neighbours, a verv real improvement would be noticeable. Vendors, knowing that the continuance of their job depended c>n quietness, would show consideration, instead of carelessness, as at present. Manv of the public are only too anxious for the Milk Council to take over the delivery of milk, for the so»e reason that the multiplicity of early morning disturbances would be considerably lessened. ]Soisk Abatement.
