CLEM DAWE REVUE

The Clem Dawe Revue Company returns to His Majesty's Theatre this evening for a short return season. Comedy, naturally, is the essence ot revue entertainment, and with Mr. Dawe at the head of affairs fun never flags. He is aided by perhaps the strongest company that has ever been associated with him in New Zealanc*. There' is real musical strength, and the singing of Miss Muriel O'Malley and Miss Ann Luciano is a delight. In addition there is Mr. Ralph Daly, the possess sor of a pleasing tenor voice. Miss Dorothy White in her inimitable stylo presents some of her best song creations, and, with Mr. Les. White, Eric Edgley and Mr. Joe Shriner, greatly assists Clem Dawe in his sketches and humorous scenes. Among the artists whose admirers in New Zealand are legion is Gregory Tvonoff, the violinist. Miss Edna Moncrieff and Miss Edna Luscombe blend vocal and personal charm with the ballet in several effective .scenes, and two adagio f and acrobatic dancers are Holiday and Watson. The operatic orchestra is under the baton of Mr. Tom King. The Suntanned Ballet also greatly assist and the children's gift matinee on Saturday i* always a welcome innovation.
