AUCKLANDER IN CHINA A REASSURING MESSAGE Confirmation of the message that Mr. A. Hayman, the Auckland missionary, who was kidnapped by Chinese bandits on October S, was alive and well was contained in a cablegram received yesterday from the Shanghai headquarters of the China Inland Mission by tlio llev. H. S. Conway, organising secretary of the mission in Auckland. Tho message said a letter dated February 14 had been received from Mr. Hayman and Mr. Bosshardt, his Swiss companion, stating they were both well.
