MENTAL HOSPITAL OUTING
Dnring the week-end Mrs. A. 35. 'Armitage and Mrs. V. M. von Sturmer J.P., official visitors to the Mental Hospital, entertained 63 women patients, taking them for a drive rotind the water front and then to an afternoon tea in the Gordon Street Hall. Short speeches of thanks to all who had assisted in making the outing such a spendid success wero made by Mrs. Armitage, Mrs. von Sturmer, Miss Mayze,' Matron, and Mr. Haydon. A Diusical programme was greatly en'joyed. After all had joined in singing " The End of a Perfect Day," and Auld Lang Syne," the party returned hy car to the hospital The musical programme was provided by: —Miss G. Brook, Miss M. de Luen, Miss Ji>. Matior, Madame Milburn and Master .George Yearbury. The following ladies and gentlemen Provided motor-cars: —Mrs. C. Austin, rj rs - A. L.
