MOVE FOR IMPROVEMENT A FIVE YEARS' SCHEME (Received February 8, 6.25 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Feb. 7 . In connection with the Government's five years' programme for roads, Mr. L. Hore-Belisha, Minister of Transport, has sent a circular letter to the highway authorities throughout Britain. He has invited them to submit at once a scheme with which they are prepared to proceed immediately, and also to submit as soon as possible further instalments of proposals for a programme of improvements to be undertaken during the next five years.
