NEW VICAR WELCOMED

FUNCTION AT CAMBRIDGE

[prom otjb own correspondent] !; C-S-MBREDGE, Friday An enthusiastic welcome to the Rev. and Mrs. C. W. Chandler was given by the parishioners of St. Andrews in the Parish Hall on Wednesday. The vicar's warden, Mr. C. W. Boyce, in extending a welcome, asked the parishioners for their co-operation in making the future work of the parish successful.

Mr. Chandler said he greatly appre- | ciat-ed the kindly and encouraging wel- 1 come". He did not admit he had come to a difficult task, as one speaker had said. He had never referred to past? troubles in the Church. The past was forgotten, and all that mattered was that the work of God went ahead in the parish. He expressed his confidence that everyone in the parish would help him in his work. Already there were indications of a new enthusiasm.
