STEREOSCOPIC FILM

FRENCHMAN'S INVENTION PROBABLY REVOLUTIONARY (Received February 4, 11.45 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 4 M. Louis Lumiere, aged 81, who 42 years ago invented one of the early moving picture cameras, has now devised a stereoscopic film which includes a camera with two lenses. These take picture;? of an object at slightly different angles so that the pictures when projected from the film have an effect of solidity. Some witnesses of a secret demonstration of the invention at the weekend say they consider it may revolutionise the cinema throughout the world.
