MAN IN SMALL WAY Charged with carrying on the business of a bookmaker, Tony Anthony Lnkashefshi appeared in the Police Court before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., yesterday. Accused pleaded guilty. Senior-Detective Hall said that ac r cused was arrested on December 21 for drunkenness, and on being searched he was found to be in possession of a double chart. He admitted accepting bets. Accused was a married man and was engaged as a cook in a relief camp near Helensville.

The magistrate said it appeared obvious that accused was in business in a very small way. He would be fined £lO, in default 14 days' imprisonment.
