FILM ACTING BAN

PROPOSED REMOVAL OPPOSITION IN AMERICA NEW YORK, Jan. 15 The movement to rescind the rule that prohibits amateurs from receiving compensation for appearing in lawn tennis action films has not been endorsed by the United States Association. The president, Mr. Hall, declared: «< J do not see any reason for such a change. I think that for any amateur to be allowed to receive substantial compensation for any action film of himself is - a definite violation of the spirit of the amateur rule. Personally I will oppose it."
