Mrs. W. Tudhopo and Miss S. Tudhope, 'Hamilton, and Misses B. and M. Tuckington, Matamata, are at the Sta<tion Hotel.
Mrs. H. Kent and Miss Oliver Kent, of Fairfax Road, Epsom, accompanied by Miss Jean Nicholls, have left on a visit to Rotdrua.
At the Hotel Cargen are Mrs. A. Ramsav-Rae, London, Mrs. Alfred du Cros, London. Mrs. Arthur Jakobbson, Wellington. Dr. Frances Harding, Sydney, and Mrs. and Miss Simpson, Leeds, England.
Mr. and Mrs. C. R. T. Congreve and their little daughter, of-Ootacamund, South India, will arrive in Auckland on Monday on a visit to Mrs. Congreve s parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. Somerville, Victoria Avenue.
Mrs. Watkins, Hastings, winner of the North Island women s croquet championship, played at Wanganui last week, has been three times New Zealand woman champion and twice JNortn Island champion.
Mr and Mrs. Herbert Elworthy and Miss Cecil Elworthy, South Canterbury, will leave next month by the Akaroa on a visit to England. Miss Elizabeth Elworthy will leave in March by the Rangitiki to join her parents.
