SECTION ALLOTTED
MANGONUI COUNTY DISTRICT Only one application, that of Mr. T. Glynan, of Awanui, was received for a section of 70 acres in the Opoe survey district of the Mangonui County, a ballot for which was to have been held yesterday. The North Auckland Land Board, which met yesterday, awarded the lease to the applicant. The area is situated on the Waipapakauri-Houhora Road, and the soil, a sandy loam resting on sandstone, was stated to be suitable for dairying or the growiiig of crops.
