ALLEGED THEFT IN SYDNEY Charged with stealing a motor-car Valued at £'2oo, the property of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Soc'e ty, Limited, at Sydney on June 20, 1932, a salesman, Hoy William Godn g> aged .% (Mr. Singer), appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.Mi, in the Police Court yesterday. Mr. Singer: Thin is an extradition matter and the e-cort arrived only yesterday by the Mamma. I saw him this morning and it was the first opportunity 1 had of going into the matter, e '. rti a remand until next Monday. Senior-Detective Hall, who proseciitcd, objected to a remand until . onday, as there was a vessel leaving *°r Australia on Friday, when the escort, proposed to leave, ihe Magistrate: I do not think a reuntil next Monday is unreasonwe.
