TRAMS IN BRITAIN
POPULARITY ON WANE TROLLEY BUSES DO WELL LONDON, Jan. 14 The News Chronicle says the popularity of trams has declined throughout Britain, passenger journeys having decreased by 60,000,000, to a total of 2,774,000,000 in 1933, as compared with 1932. The five trolley-bus companies carried a total of 227,083,825 passengers, an increase of 92,000,000.
