PLUNKET SHIELD MATCHES HOME AND HOME GAMES PROPOSED ITINERARY A proposed itinerary for home and home Plunket Shield matches was submitted by the chairman, Mr. W. 11. Fee, to the management committee of tiie Auckland Cricket Association last evening. It Mas decided to approve the itinerary and request the special sub-coinmitteo to forward to the New Zealand Cricket Council, for its meeting next April, the necessary proposal for amendment of the present Plunket Shield rules. Mr. Fee's proposed itinerary is ag follows :—Series 1, Christmas: Wellington v. Otago, at Dunedin; Auckland v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. Series 2, New Year: Wellington v. Canterbury, at Christchurch; Auckland v. Otngo, at Dunedin. Series 3: Auckland v. Wellington, at Wellington; Canterbury v. Otago, at Christchurch. Series 4: Auckland v. Otago, at Auckland; Wellington v. Canterbury, at Wellington. Series 5: Auckland v. Canterbury, at Auckland; Wellington v. Otago, at Wellington. Series 6: Auckland v. Wellington, at Auckland; Canterbury v. Otago, at Dunedin. Series No. 0 could bo played on any dates agreed upon. The proposed itinerary for alternate years is;— Series 1, Christmas: Auckland v. Canterbury, at Auckland; Wellington v. Otago, at Wellington. Series 2, New Year: Auckland v. Otago, at Auckland; Wellington v. Canterbury, at Wellington. Series 3: Auckland v. Wellington, at Wellington; Canterbury v. Otago, at Christchurch. Series 4: Auckland v. Otago, at Dunedin; Wellington v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. Series 5: Auckland v. Canterbury, at Christchurch; Wellington v. Otago. at Dunedin. Series G; Auckland v. Wellington, at Auckland; Canterbury v. Otago, at Dunedin. Series No. G could be played on dateß agreed upon. The finance committee was empowered to finalise arrangements with the Auckland Women's Cricket Association for the match against the British ladies' team to be played at Eden Park on January 29. Mr. W. R. Fee was appointed manager of the Auckland team which will play Wellington next week-end. Advice was received that the Wellington team would arrive to-morrow and stay at the Star Hotel. A letter was received from the Pukekohe Cricket Association expressing appreciation of the manner in which the country committee) had organised the management of the tourney during the Christmas holidays. A motion of sympathy was parsed to Mr. W. J. Coates, a member of the management committee, in the loss of his mother.
