Paymaster-Lieutenant J. G. Bennett, of H.M.S. Diomede, who was severely injured in a motor accident near Mercer last month, has left hospital.

Lieutenant-Commander V. F. Boyle, formerly of H.M.S. Diomede, and Mrs. Boyle are passengers to New Zealand b.v" the Remuera, which is due at Wellington from London on January 19,
Sir John Randies, a prominent English ironmaster and former member of the House, of Commons, and Lady Randies, will arrive at Wellington from. London by the Remuera this month.
Mr. E. C. Hands, general manager of tho New Zealand Broadcasting Board, who has bees|> visiting Auckland during the past week., returned to Wellington by the limited express last evening.
Mr. M. F. Brunner, deputy-Premier of New South Wales, and Mrs. Bruxner arrived in Auckland from Rcrtorua yesterday at the conoluison of a holiday visit to 'New Zealand. They will leave bv the Wanganella to-morrow on their return to Sydney. They are at the Grand Hotel.
