PRESENTATIONS

Over 200 persons attended the Mercury Hay Bowling Club's dance at the New Year, when opportunity was taken to farewell Mr. and Mrs. T. Cannon. Presentations were made to Mr. and Mrs. Cannon by the Bowling, Tennis, Golf and Bridge Clubs, the gifts including an inscribed chiming clock, wallet and bridge set. Several speakers eulogised the good work done by Mr. and Mrs. Cannon during their 12 years' residence in Mercury Bay.
