CONDUCTOR UNPOPULAR ACCEPTANCE OF GERMAN POST s (Received December 12, 6.20 p.m.) VIENNA, Dec. 11 Cries of "Shame" greeted Herr Krauss. who has been appointed to succeed Dr. Furtwangler at the Berlin State Opera House, as he approached his desk to conduct an opera to-night. Counter-cheers added to the confusion. The police eventually quelled the disturbance.
