GREAT COAL MERGER
75 MINES AFFECTED SOUTH WALES AND MONMOUTH (Received December 12. 6.20 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 11 A merger involving £17,000,000 has been concluded between the Powell Duffryn Coal Company and the Welsh Associated Collieries. The agreement affects 80,000 miners find 75 collieries in South Wales and Monmouthshire, with a productive capacity exceeding 20,000,000 tons of Coal annually. ,
