RECIPROCAL GESTURE BRITISH FIRM'S EMPLOYEES [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday The advantages to the Dominion of reciprocal trade with firms in the United Kingdom are illustrated by the action of a British house which has been favoured with an important contract by the New -Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited. The following- cablegram was received recently by the dairy company from the managing director of the Telegraph Condenser Company, Limited, London:—"As an expression of appreciation of the important condenser ■contract placed with us, our 1000 employees have unanimously resolved to use New Zealand, butter." The general manager of the dairy company has replied as follows: — "Many thanks for cable. The generous action of your staff in deciding to use only New Zealand butter is very much appreciated by the 10,000 farmer suppliers and the staff of my company."
