NGAURUHOE VOLCANO

MOUNTAIN HIDDEN BY MIST SIGHTSEERS DISAPPOINTED f [from our own correspondent] THE CHATEAU, Wednesday Mount Ngauruhoe was again invisible from the Chateau to-day, owing to thick mist. The heavy rain which has been experienced at the Chateau ceased at ten o'clock this morning, but the mountain was still veiled and there was no indication as to whether the volcanic activity is continuing. Many visitors, including people from overseas, are bitterly disappointed at the vagaries of the weather, which have prevented them seeing any spectacle which might ; otherwise have been presented.
