CHILD MIGRATION

Sir, —As regards suggested child migration to New Zealand as outlined in your columns on December I], is it in the best interests of the children that farming and domestic work should be the only occupations taught? Every boy does not make a farmer, neither is every girl suitable for domestic work. I Jiope if this system is adopted in New Zealand the homes will be worked on a far more comprehensive plan, including all branches of trades, art, etc., and a study made of the individual ability of each child. Only on these lines can a high educational standard be attained. Ethel C. Wilson.
