Mrs. J. A. Mathewson, D.unedin, is at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. W. MrKail Geddes, Remuera Road, has returned from a visit to Australia. Miss Joan Coaklev, Ranui Road, Remuera, has returned from a visit to the Thames. Miss Kathleen Cook, of Mount Eden, left yesterday for Te Awamutu, where she will take up a business appointment. Visitors from overseas at the Grand Hotel' include Miss Duff, Sydney; Miss E. Duttar and Miss N. R. Stevenson. Scotland. Mrs. E. D. Humphreys Da vies, Clevedon; Mrs. Harold Cotter, Whangarei; and Mrs. Green ways, England, are at Glenalvon. At the Central Hotel are:—Mrs. K. Devine and Miss K. Devine, Opotiki; Miss S. Clark, Te Awamutu; Miss D. ! Johnstone, Hamilton; and Miss I. Clark, Rotorua. Miss Stevenson, the national seere- ; tary of the Young Women's Christian | Association of New Zealand, who was in Geneva for the international conference of the association, is at present visiting branches in the provinces of England, wrote our London correspondent on October 26. Mr. C. Constance (Auckland), who has been for some time in the service of the P. and 0.
