ORAKEI BASIN CLUB The Orakei Basin Model Yacht Club held ft series of races for m,odel yachts in the Orakoi Basin on Saturday afternoon. The results were:— , Bft. Class.—Flying Cloud, lm, 1; Emerald, Sim, 2; Miss Orakei, lm. 3. 4ft. Clasß. —Renown, sm, 1; Corsair, 6m, 2; Defiance. 2m. 3. General Handicap.—Akarana, scr, 1; Defiance. scr, 2; lorangi, 2m, 3. • Boys' Events.—First race: Rawhiti and Bluestreak, dead-heat. 1: Comet, 3. Second race: Astra, 1; Nga-Toa, 2: Spray, 3. T-hird race: Rawhiti, 1: Golden Bubblfe, 2: Astra, 3. * . MANUKAU SENIOR CLUB Keen racing, under ideal conditions, characterised the two events held by the Manukau Senior Model Yacht Club at Mill Bay, Onehunga, on Saturday. Ten models competed, and the results were fs follows: First Race.—Patron's trophy: A. and G„ 1; Linda, 2 : Silver Bell. 3. .Second race, Rctter trophy: Mercel . 1: Silver Bell, 2; The junior section of the Manukau Cruising Club held a race for models in which 14 boats competed. The result was: R. W. Douglas (Colleen). 1; C. Davies (Pilot), 2; B Pascoe (Teddy). 3.
