HOSPITAL CONCERT
The weekly concert organised by Mr. Neville Carlsen for the benefit of hospital patients was held on Monday evening in Ward 228. An excellent programme of songs, iifetrumental and choral numbers was greatly appreciated by the large assemblage of patients. The Vermont Street School choir, under Brother Andrew, rendered choral numbers, and a party of talented juveniles, under Mrs. John Lock, delighted with solo and concerted items. Others appearing were:—Misses Joan Power. Joy Young. Nanette Schofield, Messrs. Alf. Stentirord. Neville Carlsen and Masted Allan Lock and Willie Spick. Miss Power was the accompaniste.
