TIME IMPROVEMENTS GOOD TRACK AT EPSOM That the Epsom trotting track was in fine order yesterday was demonstrated by the fact that time improvements were registered in every race. As usual, the novice and improving class horses did best and no fewer than eight horses improved from 12 to 13 seconds on their handicap. "While Nell Volo's official timet was 3.22, it was estimated that, allowing for the lime lost at the start, she ran equivalent to 3.17. Nell Volo was clocked to trot the last half-mile in 1.4.
