THREE PEOPLE STRUCK

MOTOR-CAR MISHAP ALL THROWN TO ROADWAY [FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT] "WAIUKU, Thursday When walking along Kitchener Road, Waiuku, last evening, Mr. and Mrs. P. Bright, of Kitchener Road, and Miss H. Prior, of Auckland, who was visiting them, were struck by a motor-car driven by Mr. G. C. Hudson, of Glenbrook. All three were thrown to the ground. Mr. Bright suffered a fracture of a bone in one ankle, and Sirs. Bright and Miss Prior were bruised. They were taken home and given medical attention. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAE ACCIDENT AT PUKEKOHE [FROM OTTR OWN CORRESPONDENT] PUKEKOHE, Thursday When crossing the road near the Strand Theatre this afternoon, Ross Blair, aged 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Colin Blair, of Seddon Street, was knocked down by a motor-car driven by Mr. F. C. Olsen, of Auckland. The lad was taken home and attended by Dr. H. Stewart Douglas.
