STONE FALLS ON WORKMAN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] GREYMOUTH. Thursday A fatality occurred in the Big River goldmine at Reefton this afternoon, when a fall of stone in No. 4 level killed a miner, Mr. Charles Cooper, single, aged 55. Mr. Cooper was a native of Kumara and had been employed in the mine since its reopening two years ago. This is the first fatality at the Big River mine for many years.
