WATER POLO
CONTROL BOARD'S SEASON A satisfactory season was revealed by the report and balance-sheet presented at the> annual meeting of the Auckland Water Polo Control Board. It was decided to hold a C grade competition during the coming season, competitors to be tinder the age of IS years on October 1. Mr. J. Enwright was appointed sole selector of the Auckland teams for the New Zealand championships. Th& election of officers resulted as follows Chairman. Mr. T. McCarthy; vicechairman. Mr. W. F. Smith; treasurer. Mr. T. McCarthy; secretary, Mr. E. C. Nelson; recorder, Mr. P. flhanahrtrt; assistant, recorder, Mr. A. T. B. Hughes; carnival steward, Mr. W. Elworth; timekeeper, Mr. C. A. Edenborough; auditor, Mr. W. A. H. Crump.
