Flight-Lieutenant S. Wallingford, of the Hobsonvijle air base, left for Wellington by train last evening. The Hon. A. Burns, M.L.C., arrived from Wellington by the limited express yesterday morning. Mr. E. P. Norman, town clerk of Wellington, was a passenger by the Makura for Sydney on Tuesday. Mr. N. S. Falla, managing director of the Union Steam Ship Company, has left Wellington on a visit to Australia. Mr. G. W. W yless, signal and electrical engineer for the Railway Department, arrived in Auckland, yesterday morning. Colonel Albert Orsborn, chief secretary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, returned to Wellington by train last evening. Mr. Justice Ostler, who has been presiding in the Supremo Court at Auckland, left for Wellington by the limited express last evening. Sir William Hunt, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland from the South yesterday morning and left again by the evening's limited express. Mr. F. W. Aickin, railway law officer, who has been on a brief official visit to Auckland, returned to Wellington by the limited express last evening. Mr. W. Taylor, of Dunedin, general manager of Kcmpthorne, Prosper and Company, is \-isitinp: Auckland, noeompanied by Mrs. Taylor. They are at the Hotel. Mr. W. S. Bennett, New Zealand superintendent for Dalgetv and Company, Limited, arrived from the South bv train yesterday morning, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. S. Rickards, president of the Auckland branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, has been appointed to represent the institute upon the council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, in succession to Mr. H E. Vaile.
