LICENSED TO PREACH
TWO AUCKLAND STUDENTS The licensing by the Auckland Presbytery of two students, Mr. Harold B. Burnett and Mr. Alexander Miller, who have completed their courses of preparation for the ministry, was airtended by a representative gathering of members from different congregations, held at St. Luke's Church on Tuesday night. The service was conducted by the moderator, the liev. J. A. Thomson, who licensed the students in the name of the Presbytery, and the charge to the licentiates was given by the Rev. \V. Lawson Marsh. Mr. Burnett will shortly take up the work of the ministry in the church at Patea, to which he has been called. Mr. Miller has been appointed for two years to the position of general secretary of the New Zealand Student Christian Movement.
