POWER-BOAT ASSOCIATION The report of the. New Zealand Powor Boat Association to bo presented at tho annual meeting on Thursday evening states that the club pavilion has been maintained in us good order as funds permitted. Both tho picnic and harbohr races were successfully carried oi.-t. Tho Kermath Cup was won outright by Mr. B. Spencer's Tasman and Mr. D. Latimer has presented the association with another cup for future contests. Mr C J Collings, who won tho Challenge Shield, has presented it to the club. Thanks are tendered to Captain H. H, Sergeant and his stafT for help rendered, alno to 'Messrs. H. and C. Mason for their gift of rails and trolley for hauling out, and to Mr. L. Sterickcr for a winch. The statement of accounts allows a credit balance of i'2 3s on the year's working after meeting all liabilities. The receipts included £B2 from subscriptions, £7B from locker and dinghy fees, and £5 from entranco fees. The principal items of expenditure were £OO for wages and commissions, £24 for stamps stationery and printing, £l4 for five years interest in debentures. £lB for repairs to clubhouso, and £l6 for trophies.
