CROQUET
PAPAKURA SEASON OPENED Tho Papaluira Croquet Club held its olTicial opening on 'Saturday, there being a good attendance of representatives from surrounding clubs and also local residents. The visitors werrj welcomed by the president. Mrs. J. M. Richardson. The patroness, Mrs. E. D. McLennan, played the first ball and declared the greens open for tho season. Progressive croquet was played. Ihe trophies presented by Mrs. Itichardson were won by Mrs. Parker-Hill, of l'apatoetoc, and Mrs. Butcher, of Pukekohe.
