THE ROTARY CLUB
WEEKLY LUNCHEON MEETING The weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club, held yesterday at Milne and Chovce's Reception Hall, was addressed by Mr. J. W. Shaw. The president, Mr. G. L. Taylor, presided over a good attendance. Mr. Shaw's snbjeot of "Extremes and the Mean" gave him opportunity to make stimulating and informative comment on a number of problems of the moment. The welcomed included two visiting Rotarians, Mr. E. E. Vaile, of Rotorua, and Mr. W. G. Rees Jones, of Wellington, and also Mr. J. R. Todd, of Wellington, Mr. W. E. Hancock, of Suva, Mr. V. R. Robb and Dr. R. G. McElroy, of Auckland. An invitation was received from the Dannevirke Club for Auckland members to attend the forum ,to be held in Dannevirke on November 2, 3 and 4.
