WELCOME TO NEW MINISTER [ltv TEI.KCKAI'n —PJIYJSS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Monday The Baptist Conference this morning welcomed the Kev. Alexander Hodge, the new Minister of the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle, and he was received as a member of the Baptist Union of New Zealand. Estimated payments for grants and other purposes were authorised to the extent of £2134. Addresses on behalf of the League of Nations Union, the New Zealand Alliance and the Students' Christian Union were delivered, and promises of support were given to deputations on behalf of the union.
