GIRLS IN FREEZING WORKS
A reference to a statement by Mr. Jl, Semple, M P,, on the question of the employment of women in freezing works was made yesterday by Mrs. H. Kasper, president of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women. Mr. Semple had quoted remarks made in a letter by Mrs. Jean Boswell, a member of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women. ,"1 wish to state that whatever conditions Mrs. Boswell may have found, the inspection was not made on the authority of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women," Mrs. Kasper stated yesterday. __________
