ATH4.ETIC CLUB DANCE The annual dance and presentation of trophies of the Papatoetoe Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held in the Papatoetoe Town Hall on Thursday evening. Over 300 members and friends were present, including representatives of the Papatoetoe Town Board. The chairman, Mr. W. J. Nicholson, presented the trophies and congratulated the club executive and competing members on their successes during the winter road-racing season. An excellent dance programme was directed by Messrs. B. Hounslow and G. Gordon. Supper was served by a committee of ladies and dispensed by club stewards. The ladies' committee comprised: Mrs. L. A. White, Mrs. J. Gow, Mrs. A. J. Collings and Mrs. B. Hounslow. Among those present were:—Mrs. W. J. Nicholson, Mrs. 11. MacLeod, Mrs. D. Broom, Mrs. G. Godfrey, Mrs. Codlin, Mrs. J.
