HAMILTON CLUB'S YEAR [feo:u oijr own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday There was an attendance of about 70 at the 31« it annual mc-eting last evening of the Hamilton Rowing Club. The president, Mj, A. M. Bisley, presided. It was stated in the annual report that the total membership was unaltered at 71, although there had been a largo number of resignations and transfers, v.-hich were balanced by a considerable influx of new members. During tho year there was an excess of income over expenditure of £47. Early in the season the club acquired a new Davis clinker four, which had proved a valuable acquisition to tho plant. It was regretted that for the first time for many ysars the club was not represented at the New Zealand championship regatta, and did not even hold a provincial titles? Club crews competed in all regattai) hold in the Auckland Province, and met with a fair measure of success. Reference was mado by Mr. Bisley to the retirement of Mr. J. G. Batwcm from the committee on account of liiii health, and a ;motion wa3 carried express.Mitr appreciation of Mr. Batoson'B services. The election of officers resulted Patron, Mr. C. B;.
