MISS BATTEN'S INTEREST PLAN TO SEE THE FINISH (Received September 23, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 23 Miss Jean Batten, Auckland girl flier, with her aeroplane, arrived in Sydney by the Maunganui. She will spend a holiday in Sydney before going to Melbourne to be present at the finish of the Centenary air race. PERMISSION TO COMPETE PRINCE OF WALES' PILOT British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 21 The Prince of Wales' personal pilot, Flight-Lieutenant E. H. Fielden, has received permission to take part in the Melbourne Centenary air race.
