DEATH IN TRAIN

RESIDENT OF MAMAKU i A resident of Mamaku, Mr. Charles Frederick West, 60 years of age, died suddenly in a train while travelling to Rotorua yesterday Mr. West had joined the train leaving Mamaku for Rotorua at 11.2 a.m.. but became ill on the journey. A doctor was sent for from Rotorua, but before he met the train at Ngongotalia Mr. West died. He was an enginedriver by occupation, and was well known in the district. He had been in poor health lately.
