WANG AN U I CHAMPIONSHIP [by telegraph—press association] WANGANUI, Friday The Wanganui district golf championship tournament was continued to-day. The weather was foggy and there was a drizzle at times. The second round of the amateur championship was played this afternoon. Cathro beat Saunders, f> and I; Haworth beat Goss, at the 20tli; Guy beat Hape, 2 atul 1; Dale beat Silk. 5 and 4. The semi-finals will be played to-morrow morning, when Cathro will play Haworth and Guy will play Dale.
