OKAIHAU
The fancy-drens dance conducted under the auspices of the Okaihau Cricket Club in the Chamber of Commerce Hall, Okaihau, was most successful. There was a very large attendance, and the hall was decorate! with coloured streamers. Prizes were awarded as follows:—Best fancy costumes: Miss Bowers, representing a Turkish lady; Mr. T. O'Carroll, a Chinaman. Most original: Mr. and Mrs. G. Blundell. as old pioneers. Members of the Okaihau Cricket Club were dressed as basketball girls. , Included among those present were: Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. Wiley, Mrs. F. Bindon, Mrs.' Prouse, Mrs. J. Craig, Mrs. A. Faithfull, Mrs. J. Pennoy, Mrs. G. Alexander, Mrs. B. Penney, Mrs. McLachlan, Mrs. R. Harrison, Mrs. H. Blundell, Mrs. K. Harrison, Mrs. Berry. Mrs. Lees, Mrs. Land, Mrs. Gibb, Mrs. Sharp, Miss H. Imms, Miss I. Faithfull, Miss E. Ogle, Miss P. Waire, Miss ftiian, Miss Spiers, Miss J. Graham, Mim» Blundell, Miss M. Imms, .suss K. v McAuley, Miss D. Wooster, Miss M. Bond, Miss B.
