YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS % Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges and the return from investment at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is included in the calculation of returns. BIG RIVERS ADVANCE

WAIHIS DROP ON SALE

Increased business was doue in mining shares on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. A report from 15ig Kiver mines aroused interest in these shares and sales were completed at Is lid and Is 2d, a rise of 2d, with an unsatisfied closing demand at Is 3d. Waihis dropped 3d in a transfer at 32s 9d, Junctions being done unchanged at 4s 4d. Closing quotations were:—
