LATE MR. T. C. LIST

MEMORIAL SERVICE HELD PRIME MINISTER PRESENT [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday A memorial service was conducted at St. Paul's pro-Cathedral by Canon James this morning for Rotarians and business friends of the late Mr. T. C. List. Among those present were the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, the Leader of the Legislative Council, the Hon. R. Masters, Mr. W. Nash, M.P., the president, Mr, F. Campbell, and many members of the Wellington Rotary Club, and representatives of the press, including the manager of the Press Association, Mr. A. B. Lane. The chief mourner was Mr. J. W. C. List, of Petone, one of Mr. List's brothers. The pall-bearers were past presidents of the Wellington Rotary Club. Canon James paid a tribute to Mr. List as a man of strong, attractive personality and sincere character, who had dago much in valuable service for the people. He had died in harness. Nearest his heart was the welfare of crippled children, and to that the last few months of his life was chiefly devoted.
