CADET COMPETITIONS WINNERS OF TROPHIES The annual competitions of the cadet divisions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were held at the ambulance station. Rutland Street, on Saturday afternoon, when 19 t-eams took part. Five trophies were competed for and interest was keen in each event. The results were as follows: — Cadet Challenge Cup, Junior Boys (judged by Dr. Cronin and Corps Officer G. T. Paterson). —Auckland Cadet Division, 1; Kowhai Cadet Division, 2; Auckland Boys' Brigade, 3. Bailey Challenge Cup, Senior and Junior Boys (judged by Dr. Small, Dr. Cumming and District Officer C. W. Gooderham). —Auckland Grammar School, F team, 1; Auckland Grammar .School, B team, 2; Kowhai Cadet Division, 3. Cadet Efficiency Cup, Junior Girls (judged by Dr. Kirkwood and Lady Corps Superintendent E. Cammell). —• Mamfrewa, R team, and Manurewa, U team, 1; National Reserve, D team, 2; National Reserve, N team, 3. Cadet Efficiency Cup, Senior Girls (judged by Dr. Noakes, District Officer F. L.- Schofield and"Lady Corps Officer E. McDowell). —National Reserve Division, 1; Auckland Division, J team, 2; Whangarei Division, 3. , Auckland District Challenge Cup, Senior Girls (judged by District Officer F. E. Schofield).—Auckland Division, J team, 1; Auckland Division, L team, 2; National Reserve Division, K team, 3.

A nledal, given by Lady Corjfe Superintendent E. Cammell, for the girl obtaining the highest number of marks, was tied for by two members of the Mannrewa and National Reserve Divisions.

Before presenting the prizes, Mr. C. J. Tunks, district commissioner, addressed the cadets and stated the examining surgeons were very pleased with the standard of work.
