STAVISKY'S WIDOW
DEMAND FOR RELEASE NO CHARGE FORMULATED (Received August 16, 6.35 p.m.) PARIS, August 15 Madame Stavisky has written to the Commission of Inquiry, which is investigating the affairs of her late husband, saying she has been in prison for six months and has been required to furnish information about others, but never has been questioned about herself. She says she does not know the charge on which she is held and demands her freedom or an opportunity to clear her name.
