AGREEMENT WITH MEN SATISFACTORY COMPROMISE British Wireless RUGBY, August 13 General satisfaction was expressed during the with the agreciment reached between the railway co ™ panies and the men's unions on the iragep question. The men had c aime' the return of the whole of the economy cuts which took effect in 1931, but the companies, whilo admitting improve ment in the traffic figures, maintained that this had not proceeded sufficiently for them to meet the men's request. As the result of conciliation the compromise was reached.
