TAKEN FROM MOUNT EDEN A number of young native trees growing on .Mount Eden were stolen last week, and at last night's meeting of tho Mount Eden Borough Council it was decided to offer a reward of £5 for tho detection of persons committing such an offence. It was stated that tho trees stolen were kauris, rimus and rewarewas, about 3ft. high They were removed bodily. "Cases also have been reported recently of the theft of shrubs from the rockeries on Mount Eden," said tho Mr. T. McNab.
