REPRESENTATIVE CONTEST The annual match between the Auckland and North Auckland Rugby representative teams will be played at Eden Park to-day, when an interesting and hard-fought contest is anticipated, Although several prominent Auckland players will be absent with the All Black team in Australia, a strong side has been chosen to oppose the northerners. The North Auckland side is reported as being strong and it should'' be capable of a fine display. The forwards are said to be powerful scrummagers, while the backs are speedy and elusive. * . Following are the teams:— Auckland.—Matheson. Kedgley. Pearson, Hammon. Hedge. Murdoch, Frankham. Pfcpper. Bond, Finlayson. Bush, Ross, Pearce. Lockington, Smith, Hardie. - . ...
